9000 miles away from home,
Surrounded by change in every form,
Like a little child taking her first steps,
I tread the unknown paths,
Resolving to conquer my inertia and fear,
Celebrating every little achievement,
Excited about what my next step would unravel
But the enthusiasm to grasp the freshness,
Succumbs to a familiar blanket of worries,
Winter makes way for Spring, Spring for Summer,
But the persistent anxiety paints an opaque gray
over the colourful canvass.
It dawned on me that the real battle was not external,
It had little to do with place, people or environment.
To fight the obsession
that forces a one dimensional view to life,
To lift the curtain that hides the window to the rest of the world,
It takes time and strength.
The battle is on and I am not giving up.

There you go! Never give up..!!
But all it takes is some amount of indifference to whatever we do, isnt it? The art is to balance expectations with results..
Would definitely give a better view of life and hopefully a bigger picture..
I have my own Achilles heel and me too trying to achieve that balance..
ATB!
