The mild drizzle,
the freshness in the air,
the enlivened plants,
the musical patter,
invigorate my senses,
to discover the simple joys.
the droplets of water
clear the muddy path,
exposing the narrow strip of road,
covered with the debris of nostalgia
and obstructed by the construction of anticipation
Carefully concealed from the senses,
Strongly controlled by the brain,
the present passes by unlived..
